PiHole: Network Wide Adblocker

Nobody likes interruptions due to advertisements. Customised an existing adblock application to implement network wide ad-blocking on all connected devices. It runs via a docker container on our Raspberry Pi with a maximum memory overhead of a few MBs.
The Raspberry Pi serves as the DNS for the network thus filtering those domains via wildcards, that are associated with trackers and targeting advertisements.
